James Ward-Miller is an Adelaide bred, Sydney based cinematographer. A graduate of the Masters of Cinematography program at AFTRS he prides himself in his work in narrative, documentary, and creative short form work.

Fuelled by a passion for storytelling James loves using light to create captivating images to communicate any type of story. With a background in engineering James has a strong ability to prepare and plan for both simple and complicated productions, both creatively and technically.

His years of experience as a cinematographer, camera assistant and aerial cinematographer on both commercial and feature productions has helped shape his ability to work on both large and small scale productions with particular pride in his crew management skills.
